Kevin joined Gore Mutual in 1999 as President and Chief Executive Officer. Gore Mutual, established in 1839, is one of Canada’s oldest financial institutions.

Kevin’s background includes over 25 years of insurance, banking and industrial experience.  Prior to joining Gore Mutual he was President and Chief Operating Officer of the CIBC General Insurance and its subsidiary, The Personal Insurance Company of Canada.

Kevin also held executive positions at Wellington Insurance, a subsidiary of the London Insurance Group.  Prior to Wellington Insurance, he held senior management positions in the commercial banking division of the Royal Bank. He began his career in the downstream petroleum industry with Imperial Oil and Gulf Canada.

He is Chair of the Property and Casualty Insurance Compensation Corporation and the Canadian Psychiatric Research Foundation. He serves on the Board of Directors of Gore Mutual Insurance Company, Gore Mutual Insurance Company Foundation, and the Insurance Bureau of Canada. He is a past director of the Consumers Council of Canada and the Insurance Information Centre of Canada. He is also a recipient of the City of Toronto medal for community service.
