The 2008 Open Mind Series offers education and knowledge translation workshops across Canada on a range of mental health issues that affect youth today. The workshops will offer a combination of scientifically sound leading research, evidenced based best practices and community resource information to those who need it most: parents, teachers, health professionals, social workers and justice workers.
Based on CPRF's new handbook, When Something's Wrong: Strategies for the Workplace workshops will also be hosted in select cities that focus on workplace mental health. Designed for employers, managers, supervisors, human resource professionals, occupational health and disability management providers, union representatives and employees, these interactive workshops will highlight key issues to consider when addressing mental health in the workplace.
